Ida brings heavy rain, wind to Alabama: "ORANGE BEACH, AL (WBRC) - Tropical Storm Ida brought lots of rain and gusty winds to Alabama with no reports of damage.

The storm was nearing the Alabama shoreline early Tuesday morning, with the center of the storm expected to make landfall around sunrise."
