The Blue Angels take to the sky | Fox10tv.com: "PENSACOLA NAS - 'Are you guys ready to fly?'

That's how our flight briefing started. I climbed aboard with a handicam strapped to my wrist and it only got more intense once the plane took off.

We were on one of the last flights to use jet boosters for liftoff. We climbed 1500 feet in 15 seconds and then we flew. Our seatbelts had to hold us down.

We had motion sickness bags and a few times I thought I might need it. Going 375 mph isn't as easy as it looks.

For the pilot Major Drew Hess it was sad knowing this was the next to last time he'll fly using the jet boosters."
