It’ll be a Starry Christmas in Gulf Shores!: "Make plans to be at the Erie H. Meyer Civic Center, (corner of West 19th Avenue and West 2nd Street) Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 6PM as the City of Gulf Shores kicks off the holiday season with the 29th annual lighting of the Christmas Tree.


An Open House complete with refreshments and entertainment will follow at the Civic Center, Gulf Shores Museum, Thomas B. Norton Library and David L. Bodenhamer Recreation Center, as well as South Baldwin Community Theater, until 8PM.
