Foley mural case heads to trial - al.com: "BAY MINETTE — The issue of whether the current city or former mayor of Foley owns a 68-year-old mural depicting the Battle of Mobile Bay will be decided by a jury in 2010, a Baldwin County Circuit Court judge ruled Tuesday.

Judge Charles Partin denied a motion by former Foley Mayor Arthur Holk asking that the mural be returned to him, and ordered the case tried early next year. No date was set Tuesday for the trial .

Holk, mayor from 1976 to 1996, sued Foley in 2008 after the City Council voted to sell the mural, painted in 1941 by John McCready."
