Frank Brown songwriters fest tightens its focus | Just Coasting - al.com: "Most music festivals are all about what happens when the electricity hits the loudspeaker. But one long-running event on the Baldwin County coast has been all about what happens when inspiration hits the blank page.

That’s the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival, which is celebrating its landmark year. This year’s festival runs Friday through Nov. 22 and will feature more than 160 writers, according to promotional materials. They will perform in 12 core venues scattered from Perdido Key to Gulf shores. They are:
Flora-Bama Lounge & Package and the Silver Moon Cafe on Perdido Key; Ginny Lane Bar & Grill, Villaggio Grille, Tacky Jacks, Rafters Restaurant & Sports Bar and Tipseas Steam Shack in Orange Beach; LuLu’s at Homeport Marina and the Sunset Cork Room in Gulf Shores; the Lillian Community Center in Lillian; the Tin Top Restaurant in Bon Secour; and Pirates Cove in Josephine."
