Gulf Islands seashore's displays win award | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "Gulf Islands National Seashore has won a prestigious award recognizing new displays that help ensure all visitors have a rich experience.

On Oct. 22, the National Parks Service will present Seashore superintendent Jerry Eubanks and chief interpreter Gail Bishop with the National Accessibility Achievement Award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. The award recognizes designs used to make indoor and outdoor exhibits accessible to people of all disabilities, said Park Ranger Stanley Lawhead.

'We're thrilled,' he said. 'It's nice to be recognized for our efforts.'"
