On Oct. 22, the National Parks Service will present Seashore superintendent Jerry Eubanks and chief interpreter Gail Bishop with the National Accessibility Achievement Award at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. The award recognizes designs used to make indoor and outdoor exhibits accessible to people of all disabilities, said Park Ranger Stanley Lawhead.
'We're thrilled,' he said. 'It's nice to be recognized for our efforts.'"
