Golf carts may roll on roads in Craft Farms - al.com: "GULF SHORES — Police Chief Arthur Bourne said he plans to present to the City Council a proposal that would allow golf carts to be operated on roads throughout the Craft Farms development.

Residents of the golf-based community asked city officials earlier this year to allow golf carts to be operated on the subdivision's roads, including those that lead into the Pelican Place shopping center. Last week Bourne said he'd soon bring an ordinance before the council.

From there, the council would likely schedule a public hearing on the matter before voting on the proposed law, Councilwoman Carolyn Doughty said."
