HK MOTORS - al.com: "Commissioners sent a new and stronger message of support Tuesday to a Chinese-American company seeking to open a 'green' vehicle-manufacturing plant in north Baldwin County.

A resolution and accompanying letter 'expressing encouragement and support' for Hybrid Kinetic Motors Corp.'s efforts were approved 4-0 at the County Commission meeting, with little discussion.

The resolution states that if the proposed HK Motors plant comes to a 3,000-acre industrial megasite near Bay Minette it would be 'the most economically important private project to come to Baldwin County in history.'"
