Sausage Festival on tap Saturday - al.com: "A small-town festival started more than 30 years ago has done more than raise money for the local fire department; it has helped spread Elberta's fame around the region, Mayor Marvin Williams said.

The Elberta Sausage Festival takes place again Saturday with arts and crafts vendors, music, rides and, the main attraction, up to 7,000 pounds of the community's famous grilled links.

The festival takes place each year on the last Saturdays of October and March."
