Hollinger vs. Burt continues - al.com: "BAY MINETTE — Longtime Baldwin County Commissioner Frank Burt's televised rebuke of school board staff mem bers on Oct. 30 has been challenged by Superintendent Faron Hollinger as inappropriate and inaccurate.

'The insinuation that staff had in some way not been forthcoming with the board regarding financial matters was in my opinion unfair and absolutely incorrect,' Hollinger wrote to Burt the same day.

The meeting was called to discuss the school board's financial woes and the possibility of the commission revisiting a 1-cent sales tax."
