Hollinger: Revenue talks still needed - al.com: "BAY MINETTE — Baldwin County's schools superintendent said that with the education system reeling from $7 million more in lost funding, the topic of new revenue should be back on the table, just 2cm HALF months after a sales tax increase was shot down by county commissioners.
Just as a series of local budget-cutting decisions were being implemented last week, Gov. Bob Riley announced a new round of 7.5 percent proration. Each percentage point of proration equals about $1 million in lost revenue for the Baldwin school system, officials said.
