Fairhope officials to make city pedestrian-friendly - al.com: "Members of a national pedestrian advocacy group traveling to Mobile and Baldwin counties next week plan to check out two busy intersections for street-corner talks with passersby.

In recognition of the visit, the Fairhope City Council resolved Monday to follow the 'complete streets' concept. For now on, when the city designs street projects, it will consider the needs of buses, bicycles and walkers, as well as autos."
