This year is no exception, as displays from Gulf Shores, to Orange Beach, to the Eastern Shore will include beachfront pyrotechnics, while other communities offer colorful inland-based displays.

'People come to Gulf Shores especially for the Fourth of July fireworks show,' said Teri Westbrook, city of Gulf Shores special events coordinator. 'The city of Gulf Shores has been sponsoring these shows since 1983.'
