Art sought for Lost Bay Regatta

The Point Yacht Club is looking for artwork for its 22nd Annual Lost Bay Regatta, one of the largest GYA-sanctioned sailboat races on the Gulf Coast. The artwork will be used on posters, race programs and on all merchandise. The 2009 race is scheduled for Oct. 10. The artwork should depict racing sailboats in some form, and must be suitable for screen printing and regular printing. Up to four colors may be used.

The club will need final camera-ready art from the selected artist.

The artist whose work is chosen will receive $100, recognition on the posters and in the programs, press release and photo submitted to area papers and tickets for two to the Saturday evening race awards program, dinner and dance — all held at the Point Yacht Club Pavilion at Pirates Cove.
