Baldwin Chamber Merger - www.MobileBayBusinessJournal.com: "The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and the Alabama Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce are studying the possibility of merging to form what would be the largest business representative group in Baldwin County.

According to chamber officials, each chamber has formed an investigative seven member committee made up of board members to discuss the possibility of bringing the two groups together. “The subject of merging has come up many times in the past, to consider pooling our common interests and we're exploring that,” stated Jerry Jackson, chairman of the board, South Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce."
