Insurance Department to host forum for coastal homeowners - al.com: "The Alabama Department of Insurance and Baldwin County's state legislative delegation plan to host a public forum on coastal homeowners insurance Monday in Robertsdale.

The forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Robertsdale Coliseum.

'We are looking forward to spending some time with the citizens of Baldwin County,' Insurance Commissioner Jim Ridling said in a news release. 'We want to use this opportunity to provide some fundamental information about insurance — how it works, how citizens can be better shoppers for insurance and be more educated about insurance in this difficult homeowners market.'"
