Billfish angler gets hooked | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "The first day of the 39th Annual Pensacola International Billfish Tournament became a contact sport for one unlucky angler.

Derek Snow, fishing aboard "Restitution III," sustained a deep gash in his leg when a tuna he and his crew reeled in suddenly jerked free. The metal hook in the fish's mouth flung in the air, then embedded in Snow's leg.

It caused the crew to head back to shore, get their catch weighed and have Snow's leg treated.

Restitution III brought in the top fish of the day. Landon Joyner caught a 173-pound yellowfin tuna while Steve Bozeman caught a 146-pound yellowfin tuna."
