Shrimp Festival 10 K Run

The Shrimp Festival 10K Run will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009. This event is schedule to begin at the site of the 38th Annual National Shrimp Festival on Beach Boulevard. The Festival is one of the nation’s premier outdoor festivals featuring live entertainment, over 300 vendors that offer fine art, arts & crafts, a retail marketplace and delicious seafood! Runners of all skill levels will enjoy the flat course that will run beside the Gulf of Mexico and Alabama’s Gulf State Park’s Lake Shelby. Entry fee for the 10K Run is $20 before October 8th and $25 day of race. Check-in will begin at 6:00 am at the east side of the Festival.

Awards will be presented to winners in each division and every runner will receive a t-shirt. Premier Sponsor is Bayside Orthopedics Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
