Orange Beach Residents Make Honor Flight: "Orange Beach, AL (OBA) - On Wednesday, September 16, 2009, two Orange Beach residents were aboard the second trip for Honor Flight—South Alabama. Ed Borman and Ezell McLain were among the 92 veterans and 40 volunteer guardians that flew to Washington, DC before dawn and returned to Mobile Regional Airport after 7pm that evening. The day’s events included visiting the World War II Memorial, where they were met by US Senator Jeff Sessions and US Representative Jo Bonner, as well as former US Senators Bob and Elizabeth Dole The men and women also visited the other Memorials on the National Mall and the Arlington National Cemetery."
