Saltwater fishing reports from Orange Beach, Gulf Shores Alabama

Saltwater fishing reports from Orange Beach, Gulf Shores Alabama: "September 21st, 2009 - The good September bite continues. We have caught some very nice king mackerel, Spanish mackerel and bonita on the last 4 days of fishing. Also caught a mahi mahi. We caught these mackerel on 4 hour charters just off the beach to 7 miles offshore. This nearshore bite should continue into late November. The big bull redfish should appear by late late October. The offshore bottomfishing continues with amberjack being caught in the deeper water. Scamp grouper, vermillion snapper, white snapper, king mackerel and an occassional gag grouper or red grouper are being caught in deep water. A few wahoo and mahi mahi have been caught trolling on the offshore bottomfishing charters. A few white marlin, mahi mahi and an occasional sailfish are being caught on the offshore trolling charters. We have some full day charters coming up in a couple of weeks and we are looking forward to targeting some big fish. Come on and join us on the Getaway for some fun and fishing. Captain Don"
