Arts education on back burner for waterfront - al.com: "ORANGE BEACH — Despite its enthusiastic reception last month, a nonprofit group's proposal to build and operate an arts education facility on municipal property may not come to fruition, city officials have indicated.

The City Council tabled a resolution earlier this month that would have announced its intention to allow Beach CITE Studios Inc. to build a 6,700-square-foot facility near Orange Beach's Waterfront Park.

Elected officials said during a council work session last week that they didn't plan to consider the resolution at its meeting today."
