The Perdido Key Fire Station received a call at 6:22 p.m. that swimmers were in trouble in the Gulf near The Beach House condominiums in the 1600 block of Perdido Key Drive.

When firefighters arrived, a 46-year-old man was found on the shore. Firefighters began CPR but were unable to revive him."
