Second suspect arrested in Foley drug investigation - al.com: "A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the drug investigation that led to a Foley homeowner being killed and a police officer wounded during an exchange of gunfire Wednesday morning, police said Friday.
Calvin Lowell Kimmerle, 46, of Foley was charged with distribution of a controlled substance, according to a police statement issued Friday.
Foley narcotics officers had been investigating Kimmerle and Michael Woods, 51, as part of a marijuana and prescription narcotic distribution operation. Police went to Woods' home with a search warrant at 6 a.m. Wednesday. Woods surrendered, but his father, Robert Woods, 77, came out of the master bedroom holding a revolver, Police Chief David Wilson said after the incident."
