Kathleen Tucker Teaching at the Summer Arts Camp

Kathleen Tucker will be teaching dance at Orange Beach Art Center’s Summer Arts Camp. Mrs. Tucker is the Director and Ballet Instructor at the Gulf Coast Ballet and will bring her wonderful experience to the camp students who choose dance from the many classes offered during the Arts Camp. Her dance class will give children the opportunity to explore dance and begin to appreciate the discipline, confidence, and fun involved in the art of dance.

The goal of this camp is to nurture the creative gifts all children possess. The Summer Arts Camp is June 22 – 26 with many classes available for children. Each class is taught by either a professional artist or educator.
Art Campers will begin at 9:00 AM each morning and rotate their individualized schedule. Camp is over at 3:15 each day. Each day’s instruction will build on the day before as children learn and complete their projects.

The cost of the 2009 Summer Arts Camp is $110. Camp enrollment is very limited. For information on enrolling call the Orange Beach Art Center at 981-2787. Or come by the Art Center our hours 10 AM until 5 PM Tuesdays through Fridays. Our location is 26389 Canal Road, just west of the Orange Beach Library and before the Kids Park.
