Fatal Orange Beach wreck hours after speeding ticket on same road - al.com: "A man who got a ticket only hours earlier was speeding again down the same Orange Beach road Saturday morning when he wrecked his vehicle, killing his passenger, police said.

Michael Kendall, 24, of Pensacola, was critically injured in the Canal Road wreck, in which police said he was traveling more than 70 mph in a 50 mph zone. John Edward Dolan, 47, of Orange Beach was killed after the sedan ran off the road and hit a concrete utility pole about 5:50 a.m.

The night before at 11:50 p.m., Kendall was ticketed for speeding after he was clocked going 69 mph just a few miles east of there, police said."
