Hurricane expo on tap in Gulf Shores - al.com: "With the start of the Atlantic hurricane season just days away, Gulf Shores city officials want residents to start thinking how they can prepare for a storm.

To that end, the city will host its Hurricane Awareness Expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Adult Activity Center.

Several city departments will be on hand to distribute storm-related information and they will be joined by representatives from the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency as well as several vendors, according to a news release."
