Watch for Space Station over Alabama Coast Tonight

April 3, 2009 - Orange Beach, AL - The international Space Station will make an appearance over the Alabama/Florida Gulf Coast this evening starting at 8:00:02pm and will be visible for 2 minutes and 25 seconds until 8:02:27pm.

Look in the West-Northwest sky at 76 degrees at 8:00pm. The International Space Station (ISS) will be traveling South-Southeast. Skies are expected to be clear and the ISS will be brighter than Venus.

The ISS is the largest and brightest object in Earth's orbit. The solar panels span 240'.
