Baldwin Salvation Army store to reopen - al.com

Baldwin Salvation Army store to reopen - al.com: "A year after the Salvation Army's busiest south Alabama thrift store was damaged in an arson fire, organization officials said they hope to have the Foley facility reopened in about a month.

The Foley store on Ala. 59 has been closed since April 2008, said Maj. Ted Morris III, Salvation Army Mobile-Baldwin area commander.

Without the income from the store, about $23,000 a month, local Salvation Army operations have been hampered, Morris said."
