Gulf Shores condo board to get $1.5M - al.com: "A federal judge in Mobile on Thursday ordered an insurance company to pay $1.51 million to a Gulf Shores condominium association for hurricane damage, cutting a jury's award to the maximum amount allowed under the policy.
The jury on April 8 sided with the Caribbean I Owners' Association in its dispute with Great American Insurance Co. of New York.
Jurors decided that the insurance company was liable for more than $1.8 million for damage caused by Hurricane Ivan."
