Grant could create 10,000 feet of sidewalk for Foley - Baldwin County NOW - A Gulf Coast Information Source for South Alabama: "FOLEY, Ala. — A $450,000 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) grant will bring approximately 10,000 feet of sidewalk to the city.

That announcement was made Monday by Mayor John Koniar. Foley City Council members moved to accept the ARRA grant, then approved a Volkert & Associates task agreement that includes surveying and engineering in connection with sidewalk construction.

The proposed six-foot wide sidewalks would extend from 9th Avenue West to Orchid Avenue."
