Drowned girl's father returned to face manslaughter charges - al.com: "BAY MINETTE — A former Elberta man has been returned to Baldwin County to face manslaughter charges in the 2003 drowning death of his daughter, local authorities said.

Jason Woerner, 35, was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center on Sunday after being extradited from North Carolina. He was being held Monday on no bond, a jail spokeswoman said.

Woerner was arrested earlier this month by Charlotte, N.C., police and U.S. marshals at his mother's home in Charlotte, according to authorities."
