New reefs coming to Pensacola Beach | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "Years of work finally have come to fruition in the form of artificial reefs just off Pensacola Beach.

Santa Rosa County has agreed to help fund the deployment in an area about 4.5 miles southeast of the Pensacola Pass, which encompasses the Three Barges. The remainder of the funds will come from Escambia County's Marine Resources Division. The county is in the process of acquiring someone to deploy the reefs, said Robert Turpin, Marine Resources division chief."
