Strawberry Festival starts Saturday - al.com: "LOXLEY — With a good crop of berries expected and vendors and entertainment lined up, organizers expect a great turnout for the 22nd annual Baldwin County Strawberry Festival this weekend.

The event starts Saturday at the Loxley Municipal Park. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

With a week of good weather since the recent rains and no damaging freezes during this week's cold snap, the strawberries have been checked in local fields and are being harvested for the event, Jeanine Stewart, festival chairwoman said Wednesday."
