System's review a rosy one - al.com: "The Baldwin County Board of Education is nearing the final rung of the achievement ladder that has taken the system more than a year and a half to accomplish.
The board recently wrapped up a review process to receive districtwide accreditation for the first time in system history. Officials said accreditation will give Baldwin's public schools consistency and a stamp of approval from a nationally recognized education authority, AdvancED.
Baldwin County is one of 44 Alabama school districts seeking accreditation, according to AdvancED documents."
