Cop shot, homeowner killed in Foley drug search - al.com: "A 77-year-old Foley man died and a police officer was shot in an exchange of gunfire during a drug search of a home on East Ashford Park Drive, Chief David Wilson said Wednesday.

Foley Officer Randy Stallworth was flown to Baptist Hospital in Pensacola, where he was treated for a wound to the upper thigh and released later that day, Wilson said.

Robert Woods was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit several times when officers returned fire, Wilson said in a late-morning news conference."
