Tacky Jack's to expand | al.com: "The owner of Tacky Jack's Grill & Tavern plans a 7,000-square-foot restaurant where Ala. 180 meets East Canal Drive, on the south side of the Intracoastal Waterway, in Gulf Shores, according to Ken Kichler of Tacky Jack's. The property has 250 front feet on the waterway and is across the Intracoastal from Lulu's at Homeport Marina. Tacky Jack's George Skipper has partnered with the land owner and is working with other investors to build the 300-seat restaurant by spring 2011. The old hotel on the site will be torn down. Tacky Jack's also has locations in Fort Morgan and Orange Beach."
