Amid plea negotiations, trial delayed in murder at sea | al.com: "NEW ORLEANS, Ala. -- A federal judge on Friday postponed until June the murder trial of Thomas Judson Poole IV, who is accused of killing Michael Gene Holman in an offshore melee aboard a Bon Secour-based fishing boat in October.

In a joint motion filed earlier this month in New Orleans federal court, prosecutors and the public defenders assigned to Poole said they needed more time to negotiate a plea deal that could preclude a trial."
