A day in the sun for Special Olympics Baldwin County 2010 (with photo slideshow) | al.com: "FAIRHOPE, Ala. -- About 300 athletes from around Baldwin County literally had their 'Day in the Sun' during the Baldwin County Special Olympics at Fairhope Municipal Stadium on Friday.

'The purpose of this is for individuals with disabilities to come out and compete like their regular peers can compete every day,' Special Olympics Baldwin County 2010 co-chair Lo May said. 'This is their one day to shine.'"
