Orange Beach looks to limit pawn shops, palm readers and tattoo parlors | al.com: "ORANGE BEACH, Ala. -- In a bid to polish the city's image among tourists, retirees and investors, Mayor Tony Kennon has proposed restricting pawn shops, tattoo parlors, piercing studios, flea markets and palm readers to areas zoned for industrial activities.

Kennon said during a recent public hearing that the proposal was prompted by his fear that falling rents would attract enterprises that might not otherwise be able to afford an Orange Beach location and that he didn't plan to back off bringing the zoning changes to fruition."
