Blakeley boat tours return Saturday | al.com: "SPANISH FORT, Ala. -- Historic Blakeley State Park resumes its regular boat tours into the Tensaw-Mobile Delta with its first regular 'walk on' tour on Saturday.

Spring hours are 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for the narrated tour aboard the 50-passenger Delta Explorer. When hot summer weather begins, the tour hours will change to morning.

Leaving from the Blakeley Park dock on the Tensaw River, the Delta Explorer tour runs north, crosses the Delta, then down toward the Mobile Bay Causeway and loops back to the park. Along the way passengers see unique plant, animal and bird life in areas impossible to explore except by boat."
