16th Annual Shrimp Festival Golf Scramble September 11th at the Cotton Creek Golf Course

The 16th Annual Shrimp Festival Golf Scramble is scheduled for Friday, September 11th, at the Cotton Creek Golf Course in Gulf Shores, AL. The format is a four-person scramble with handicap, add together all four handicaps, divide by four, and take 25% of the total. Prizes will be awarded to the Best New Team 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, Best Gross Team 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place, Worst Gross Team, (2) Closest to the Pin and (1) Longest Drive. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m., lunch at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 shotgun start.

The tournament is open to the first 144 players to sign up. The cost to play is $145.00 per person and includes a round of golf with cart, 2 mulligans, 1 red tee buster, lunch prior to the beginning of the tournament, door prizes, gift bag and an award ceremony following the tournament. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.00. All net proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce Education Scholarship Fund for local graduating seniors. The tournament is produced by the Alabama Gulf Coast Area Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Hutchinson, Moore & Rauch, LLC, and in part by Gulf Publishing Company, CenturyTel Communications and Miller Lite/Gulf Distributing.
