Balky Condo buyers sued - al.com: "ORANGE BEACH — The Arkansas firm that built the 20-story Escapes! to the Shores condo tower has sued a pair of men and their Florida investment adviser for pulling out of a deal late last year to buy the resort for $36 million.

In the suit, filed earlier this month in Mobile's federal court, Escapes! Inc. claims that, believing it had a buyer, it took the property off the market and missed out on opportunities to sell the resort to someone else while it was still eligible for federal Gulf Opportunity Zone tax breaks.

'We had a deal with these people, and they backed out, and they did so at the worst possible time,' said Escapes! attorney Russel Myles."
