Town historic preservation ordinance set for vote - al.com: "MAGNOLIA SPRINGS — After several months of preparation, an ordinance to protect historic buildings that have been without regulation for the last three years is ready for a vote by the Town Council, municipal officials said.
The ordinance setting up a historic preservation district in Magnolia Springs will be decided on at Tuesday's meeting, said Councilman Ken Underwood.
If the regulations are approved, owners of property in the district, which includes most of the town, will require a permit from the town's Historic Preservation Commission before making exterior changes, Underwood said."
