New planning director to meet Branson residents Tuesday | News-Leader.com | Springfield News-Leader: "Branson residents will have an opportunity to meet Jim Lawson, the city’s new planning and development director, tomorrow between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. at Chester’s Restaurant located at 1166 W. Highway 76, a news release from the city of Branson said.

Lawson was hired as Branson's planning and development director on April 1. Lawson has 34 years of city planning experience. He was the planning director in Little Rock, Ark., and Orange Beach, Ala., before coming to Branson, the news release said."
