Ex-Davis aide up for post - al.com: "Dana Gresham , a former top aide to U.S. Rep. Artur Davis , D-Birmingham, is in line to become assistant secretary for governmental affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation, according to a White House news release.

Gresham, a Birmingham native, served as Davis' chief of staff from 2003 until last November. He is at least the second Davis staffer to go to work for the Obama administration. Corey Ealons , a former spokesman for the congressman, is now working in the White House press shop."
