Elberta, Ala., fires up the grills for annual Sausage Fest | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "The town of Elberta, Ala., will revist its German heritage Saturday for the Original German Sausage Festival, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Elberta Town Park, on U.S. 98 between Lillian, Ala., and Foley, Ala."

Festivalgoers will chow on German sausage made from a secret recipe and developed by the founding fathers of Elberta. The festival also will feature arts and crafts, live music, carnival rides, baked goods and more.
