Beach business booming | pnj.com | Pensacola News Journal: "Cha-ching!"

That's the sound business owners have been hearing a lot recently at Pensacola Beach.

Visitors have been hitting the beach since the beginning of March as college students on spring break and others vacation there.

Donnie Webb, the owner of Florida Pizza Kitchen, said his business is up 20 percent to 30 percent compared to last year.

Webb said he thinks part of the reason is because Pensacola Beach is benefiting from the slumping economy.
