Bay-area officials say a million gallons of sewage dumped into waterways - al.com: "Don't touch the water. And don't eat the oysters.

The heavy rain last week resulted in at least a million gallons of untreated sewage flooding into area creeks, rivers and ultimately Mobile Bay, according to local sewer systems.

While Mother Nature will cleanse the natural systems by week's end, bacterial levels in area waters will be well above U.S. Environmental Protection Agency standards for safe contact for the next several days, according to health officials."
