Speaking to about 50 residents of Beach Colony condominiums, Cy Keefer said the current C-1 zoning on the proposed bingo hall site already allows that kind of gambling activity.
"Let me tell you why I don't need your vote," Keefer said. "Everything we're doing, everything that's platted, the site itself and the development allows a bingo hall."
He then asked the audience, "So why am I standing here? Because I do give a (expletive) about what happens to this town," he said.
