Gulf Shores synthetic golf surface maker seeks tax break | al.com: "GULF SHORES, Ala. -- A manufacturer of synthetic tee surfaces has asked the City Council for an $18,000 tax break to help it ramp up production and stay in south Baldwin County.

The company, TurfHound, is operating at minimal capacity in a building within the municipal industrial park and is being courted by a North Carolina town, the plant's manager Ross Robinson told the City Council during a work session last week."
